We were outside one day at recess and kids kept saying they were hot and took of their jackets. A few minutes later they would come back and say they were hot and put back on their jackets. It inspired me to make up a quick song to teach the phrase "I'm cold" and "I'm hot" in Spanish.
I would start by teaching the phrases separately with visuals:
